The Dragon Overlord plans to only get a PS3, but the Wii is the lowest price so I might also get that...The Dragon Overlord is not touching the X-Box 360...

the scary and sad thing is, I might end up getting all 3 of them, cause see the thing is:
3 games that continue from games I have on other systems are coming out , each on a different system.
Wii: the new Super smash Bros.
PS3: Kingdom Hearts 3
XBOX 360: Banjo Kazooie 3

Its sad wen a person buys a game system to play one and only one game on it, but the Dragon Overlord almost did that with a gamecube so....not saying a word

I bought a Wii, but I'm disappointed with the gaming industry right now. I'm disappointed that nintendo is gearing the Wii for YOUNG children/ elderly , I'm disappointed in the game designers for focusing too much on cutscenes instead of gameplay graphics, I'm disappointed in the titles for the Wii, AND I'm REALLY disappointed that Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony are trying to monopolize the gaming market by not realesing tri-console franchises, such as Assasin's Creed, Bioshock, Halo 3 and all those good titles.. Sure, it will make THEM more money and make THEM seem more "exclusive", but it's nothing more than über-capitalism, and it derails hardcore game fans with little money to spend on such luxurys. Oh, and I detest game companys like Activision; THEY ARE SLOTHS! They sell you on great cutscene previews, but they do a crappy job on their gameplay graphics. It's like playing N64 on a brand new console. (Although, the Wii's backwards compatibility is cool... But it's stupid that they charge for their NES, SNES and N64 titles. I'll bet they're not getting as many downloads as they first anticipated. )

Even though they were "reformatted" for the Wii, they're still GCN titles and most people have already played them. (Those were good choices for wii-remote gameplay though.) Plus, what about RE5? I'm dying to know what happens next! RE4 was originally a Nintendo exclusive and was basically left as a cliffhanger. Why should the sequel be on an differn't, more expensive console? Also, why should the Nintendo be "80% devoted" to the really young/elderly? What about their customers that grew up with the N64/gamecube? They would naturally be craving more difficult and mature games. Nintendo's focus should be on the teen customers, however, it is smart to introduce young kids to video games, aswell as make it a family pleasure. Parents/ grandparents playing WITH the kids. They're trying to expand their sales by appealing to "untouched" age groups, but they're going to lose a ton of buisiness from their largest age group. As for graphics, Nintendo's President, Satoru Iwata said: "I've seen the wii's graphics, and they are amazing". They're not that great. Right now they're just "polished gamecube graphics". So far, as a next genrration console, it's not immpressing me. Medal of honor: heroes 2, is the only decent Wii title I've played/ owned so far. (Excluding good games like zelda) And another thing about graphics. CAN NO ONE DESIGN A FREAKIN' TREE THAT LOOKS REAL? EVERY SINGLE TREE IN EVERY SINGLE GAME HAS 2D, 16BIT, BRANCHES WITH A CHEESY TRUNK. ...Man, I sound old and cranky. BUT, it's true.

Nintendo has always been about pleasing the younger crowd >> what they're doing now is nothing new...but yea I do agree with you about RE:5 >< moving it to the ps3 is bs. All the "best" Resident evil games have been with nintendo, why move it to the $600 system most people can't afford. As far as decent games for the wii, you should pick up Resident evil:Umbrella chronicals, Mario Galaxy, and Metroid Prime 3:Corruption All of em made exclusively for the Wii and all of em quite fun x3 btw garththewerewolf i got SSBB jap ver now woot XD Auuugh! I'm so jealous of you! ><;; Does the game noticeably play slower than melee? Who're your mains? Also, out of pure curiosity on my part are you able to play anyone with the wifi where you're at yet? Oh, and I added you ^^ my friend code is: 0145 1327 6341 8497
